Male and female genders both exist within each of us. Gender, instead of being the clear opposites of male and female, it is instead a spectrum of biases, tendencies, and self-perception somewhere between male and female. Both are intermingled, intertwined and intrinsically part of each entity.
We are not talking solely about the sex of an individual here, for this is the human characteristic of being physically male or female. We experience both male and female lives however, and so a soul may develop a natural identification with either gender. So when we talk about gender, it's the bias in personality that we are referring to, not the physical human sex.
Everybody is psychic or empathic to some degree. We all possess intelligent consciousness but access to spiritual abilities varies from person to person. Broadly speaking, a psychic person receives knowledge or information based communication and an empath, emotional communication. All this is received by the spirit complex and then accessed by the mind. You can be both psychic and empathic to a great degree, more one than the other, or very little of both. Both psychics and empaths often have trouble discerning the thoughts or emotions of others, from ideas and feelings of their own.
When my father died I asked myself, 'is he really my dad?' Yes, biologically he was without doubt! But, now that he resides spirit-side, an entity of the one creation, originating from the Source just like myself – it's clear that on a spiritual level he didn't spawn my existence. Only on a human, physical, or biological level was he the catalyst for my creation. So instead of being my father, he is instead likely my companion, friend or contemporary. We may be of a similar cosmic age – if time even really exists in the universal realm. Hence, the perception of communication with my father through prayer, meditation or a medium fell away. Now he's an important, much loved, friend or companion.
You may be experiencing symptoms of blockages in your energy centers or chakras. Energy centers make up the spirit that is the physical body. If you shine white light through a prism the colors separate into 7 basic colors, same as a rainbow. The spirit is made up of white light and separated out are 7 chakras, represented by 7 colors, and these run down the center of the body.
The red-rey (of light) or red (root) chakra at the base of the spine represents the basic chemical elemental body and comes from the planet we inhabit. A blockage in the red-rey can manifest as ill-health given that there may be a chemical imbalance in the physical body. Lower back pain can be a symptom. Physical healing and earthly grounding in nature are required. A blockage can manifest as difficulty in controlling emotions – feelings of anger, abandonment and despair. These are the most basic of human emotions and once the blockage is removed, emotions of a higher vibrational nature are more able to flow.
You don't always need a spiritual healer or trained Reiki master to unblock your chakras for you. Although these wise healers are undoubtedly invaluable, you can also perform your own healing in terms of the free flowing of energy through your energy centers yourself.
Your chakras and symptoms of blockages are explained in the article 'Blocked Chakras'. The red through violet chakras require free flowing of vital cosmic energy in order to fully balance you as an entity. You are a mind/body/spirit complex. Your spirit resides within and is attached to your earthly body at all times, until it is released up death.
You're not alone in this, it's very common for family members to react negatively towards us during our spiritual awakening. It's hard enough having a spiritual awakening, going through all the realizations and transformation; only to be confronted with fear, rejection, worry, and even ridicule from those who we should be able to depend upon.
It seems worst when it involves religious family members. Our spiritual awakening throws our own beliefs outside of their comfort zone, and this can cause parents and siblings to fear that we are tangling ourselves up in something terrible. Of course this is not the case, in fact, we are finding our own truth in love and understanding, we are discovering our true infinite beingness and the energetic nature of reality.
It's normal to experience some discomfort or physical pain when you start to meditate for the first time. Some individuals, not all, experience physical pain or emotional turmoil when they first achieve silence of the mind and open the gateway to cosmic energy. Much cleansing occurs within both your physical body complex and subtle spirit body. Some stored-up negative energies are dislodging and beginning to clear, causing some physical symptoms to occur. Headaches are common, especially at the top of the head or the forehead due to the pineal gland, or third eye, getting a work-out that it's not used to.
When you close your eyes the darkness activates the pineal gland, which then secretes melatonin into your cerebral fluid which starts the process of sleep. You are conscious however during meditation, but the same effect is felt – meditation is conscious sleep. Turn out the lights, the pineal gland activates and the gateway to intelligent infinity opens. You use your pineal gland during sleep and at certain points of the day while subconsciously sending and receiving energies and communications to and from the spirit world. However, the process of meditation gives your pineal gland a more strenuous workout than usual.
Your higher self remembers all that you have ever been through, every incarnation you've had. The subconscious mind is the link between you today and your previous selves. Sometimes emotions and memories arise within us that have no discernible origin, they are triggered in certain situations. Unable to find the cause in this life, we begin to suspect that they came from a past life.
Here are 8 ways to know you're remembering a past life, and this helps you to know what your previous lifetimes were.
Music Moves You
You hear an old song or melody, be it Classical, Baroque, Opera, Native American, Ragtime, Swing, Disco, or even something else; and you feel like you're reminiscing. But what are you reminiscing about?
When I hear Vera Lynn, a singer who was enormously popular during the Second World War, I am almost brought to tears. Emotions, that are not necessarily my own, come flooding back and I perceive these emotions as belonging to another part of me, a former aspect of myself.
Orbs show up as circles or spheres of white light, on photographs, video, and with the naked eye. As well as white, orbs are occasionally blue, yellow, green or red.
An orb may have shown up in one of your photos, perhaps next to a family member or friend, and now you're wondering what on earth it could be.
What Are Orbs?
Dust Particles, Pollen Or An Insect.
The usual suspects are dust particles and pollen, where the light from the flash is reflected off such material and back into the lens. The particle could be up ahead or even on the lens. Orbs are often still visible however, even when the flash is disabled.
A light source behind the photographer, instead of the flash, can also cause dust particles to illuminate, but again, as with the photograph above, the photographer (my husband) was in darkness, with only the light of the moon high up ahead. Strange, isn't it?
You might suspect that you have built up negative karma and want to know how to release it. Perhaps unfortunate events are happening all the time, or you're feeling down on your luck. Maybe the question; 'Why does this keep happening to me?', regularly comes to mind. All is well, here are some effective ways to release karma.
Just Quick, What Is Karma All About?
Karma is cause and effect. It results from our actions, and is accumulated through performing those actions. Life is a journey of learning and experience, and for this reason, our soul loves to take an incarnation on planet Earth; it is rich is varied experiences.
Karma is not a punishment, it is a tool for growth. Our soul wishes to learn and ascend, consciousness by its very nature must evolve. We learn from the actions we take, both positive and negative, even if we don't realize we are learning. We must also experience the polar opposite of those experiences in order to understand both sides of the story.
