![]() One thing I have been exploring over several years, is why I feel uncomfortable around people I don't know so well. I've worked on it and feel much better nowadays, but perhaps you feel this too sometimes. It's natural to hold certain aspects of our personality back when we meet people for the first time or are getting to know them, but is it really beneficial? We want to portray the best version of ourselves so that people like us, but perhaps the entirety of our personality is just as loveable, if not more, than the social mask, and we don't need to filter who we are for others. ![]() The following self-love affirmations are designed to increase your self-love by repeating them daily. Our subconscious mind is full of pre-programmed beliefs, many of which prevent us from having self-love, even leading us to actively dislike ourselves. The subconscious mind can be retrained and reprogrammed to accept positive beliefs, ones we desire to have and that infinitely improve our lives. Many of the affirmations below are concepts that lead to self-love. We can work on these thoughts too, because all are pathways to improving our perceptions and feelings about ourselves. In having self-love, we can live in joy, peace and confidence; manifesting all the best. Repeating affirmations is best done when you are feeling very relaxed because the subconscious mind is most accepting in this state. You can repeat affirmations to yourself out-loud or within your mind. But it's most effective when we speak them out-loud. To perform affirmations you can either: - Read the entire list to yourself 3 times per day, once in the morning, once at midday and once in the evening. ![]() The art of transcending is key to a peaceful mind. To 'transcend', means to 'go beyond' or 'go further than'. We might consider going beyond or further than our usual thought processes, our deep-rooted perceptions and beliefs. In a moment, I'll give you examples of things, situations, concepts and aspects of life, that we might want to transcend, bringing you a surprising amount of inner peace in a relatively short time. We react in certain ways in various situations, ways typical to us as individuals. Our usual emotions arise when someone is being disagreeable, we might adopt typical behaviors when facing a challenge, perhaps we make assumptions based on our deep-rooted belief systems, and perceive others around us in the same old ways we always have. All these have energetic consequences for us, so perhaps we can perceive things a little differently? |
